| SK Kampong Tengah |
During the months of August, leading into October, children in Kuala Krai are
taking part in a mini- book project. This project originally started at SK Kampong Tengah, and SK Chenulang, and was
the idea of the teachers involved in our program.

| SK Chenulang
In each
School, teachers gave the children the freedom to decorate, and design their
own book in small groups, with each teacher deciding on the the type of book
design. Izhan, and Nadiah, two of our Mentee’s at SK Chenulang, decided to
include the books in a new year three library, when they saw the results of their students work.
Creative
learning through a group activity, is building the students confidence, in a
fun, pro-active way, and who knows, could be the beginning of an a future artist or writer in one of the schools.
